Marine Experts Argentina has joined Solis Marine Consultants’ Alliance of global partners established to enhance the Group’s reach and range of expert marine consultancy services.
While the two businesses remain fully independent, under the terms of the alliance Marine Experts Argentina will provide Solis Marine – specifically focused on Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay – with additional local knowledge, expertise and resources on marine casualty, loss prevention, port captains and cargo surveys. The company operates across South and Central America from its headquarters in Buenos Aires.
In return, Solis Marine will support Marine Experts Argentina with salvage, naval architectural, expert witness, project cargo and engineering services on a global basis. Solis Marine Consultants currently operates out of a network of offices in London, Falmouth, Rotterdam, Singapore and Shanghai.
“We, Marine Experts Argentina are pleased to join the alliance network to provide Solis Marine and their clients with marine surveying, salvage and other services in the region where we operate,” said Captain Eduardo Prone, partner and chairman. “In return, we will be gaining a global footprint within salvage and surveys via our partnership with Solis Marine.”
Solis Marine chairman Nigel Clark said: “We are delighted to welcome Marine Experts Argentina to the growing number of members in the Solis Alliance network. In addition to complementing our existing range of services, Marine Experts Argentina will provide the Solis Group with local knowledge and resources and an ability to respond quickly to incidents and requirements for attendances in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

The Alliance also includes Myrcator Marine & Cargo Solutions FZE in the Middle East, Shipping Strategy Ltd in the UK and The Survey Association of 1914 which is based in Copenhagen with representation in Esbjerg, Svendborg, Gdynia and Singapore.
