Thomas Miller is an independent and international provider of insurance, professional and investment services.
Our origins are in the provision of management services to mutual organisations, particularly in the international transport and professional indemnity sectors; today we manage a large percentage of the foremost insurance mutuals. Increasingly we apply our knowledge and expertise to the development of specialist privately owned businesses.
Our insurance services include insurances for the transport sector; professional indemnity insurances for various markets, including barristers, solicitors, and housing associations; and housing warranty insurances and commercial property latent defects insurances.
Our professional services comprise captive insurance management; claims management services, such as professional claims handling, operational support, casualty response, and caseload outsourcing; and due diligence and claims management services for commercial ATE insurers and litigation funders. It also provides marine technical, survey, and casualty investigation services to the marine and energy sectors. The company also provides consultancy and safety services using in-house software tools and risk-based alternative design.
Our investment management services for institutional clients include management of assets for insurance mutuals, charities, pension schemes, governments.
