On January 23, officials from HMS Raleigh joined senior members of MLA College at a signing of the Armed Forces Covenant.
Captain Jane Roe, Commanding Officer, and WO1 Glynn Fellows, Base Warrant Officer, joined Professor Basak Akdemir, Chief Executive, and staff at MLA College at their Plymouth office.
By signing the covenant, MLA College pledges to support the British Armed Forces Community and the principles of the Covenant.
In addition, MLA College has announced that as of the 23rd January 2023 it will provide a 10% discount on degree programmes to all serving UK Armed Forces personnel, veterans and members of their immediate families.
Through partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), MLA offers a number of programmes focusing on Sustainability, as well as a wide range of Maritime and Marine subjects. All programmes are delivered through part-time, distance learning which provides the student full control over how and when they study, and enabling the flexibility required by service life.
All programmes carry validation by the University of Plymouth and whether approaching the end of a military career, or looking to strengthen your knowledge whilst continuing to serve, MLA are ready to support your studies.
