Maritime and engineering specialist PR firm Polaris Media has won a range of new assignments for clients in the UK, China, Europe and the Gulf.
Polaris has signed a new deal to help promote long-term Swedish owned manufacturing client Roxtec and its new Saudi Arabian subsidiary. It is further undertaking work for one of Europe’s fastest growing ports the Port of Gdansk in Poland as well as iconic Southampton hovercraft builder Griffon Hoverwork.
Elsewhere Polaris has signed a wide-ranging new deal with Beijing headquartered China Classification Society one of the biggest maritime organisations in the world which has a serviced fleet of more than 35,000 vessels.
Polaris managing director Ben Pinnington (pictured) said the deals are seeing Polaris help with PR strategy and awareness raising through publicity and social media as well as web design.
“We are pleased to agree these new deals and continue to expand Polaris’ foot print in the U.K. and prime exports markets,” he said. “Mainstream media remains very important particularly the international trade media and regional press. Clients are further placing greater emphasis on social media particularly LinkedIn as a prime vehicle to reach stakeholders.”
Polaris also recently promoted the Society of Maritime Industries annual conference addressed by the Defence Secretary Ben Wallace examining the future of UK shipbuilding.
Polaris MD Ben Pinnington is due to publish his first book ‘Making Waves: PR strategies to transform your maritime business’ in early summer with Rethink Press.
