Quadrant Chambers welcomes Lydia Myers as a new member.

Lydia Myers commented on her appointment: “I am very proud and excited to be coming onboard at Quadrant. Lydia is developing a litigation and arbitration practice in shipping, commodities and international trade, insurance and commercial disputes. She is frequently instructed as sole Counsel against senior practitioners including against Silks. A recent highlight included Lydia acting as Counsel in a challenge to a GAFTA arbitration award under s67 of the Arbitration Act against a senior QC. Lydia is often praised for her skills as an advocate and her ability to cut through complex issues with ease and clarity. Before joining the Bar, Lydia spent two years studying at the Sorbonne in Paris for her Licence 3 and Masters in French Law. Lydia has been exposed to international private law from both an English and French perspective and is able to conduct legal submissions and witness handling in French if required.
Lydia is the fourth new member of Quadrant Chambers in as many months, following on from international arbitration specialist Claire Stockford joining from Eversheds Sutherland in December, shipping and commercial advocate James Shirley in November, and more recently Sam Mitchell following successful competition of pupillage.
