The UK P&I Club has promoted Senior Claims Director Jeff Lock to the newly created role of Global Technical Claims Director and Senior Claims Executive Adam Russ to Senior Claims Director.
Jeff Lock joined UK P&I Club in 2011, having spent 11 years working as a solicitor within a major London maritime law firm. As well as being a qualified solicitor, Jeff has 18 years seagoing experience on a wide range of ship types, including oil and petrochemical tankers. Jeff represents the UK Club on International Group (IG) sub-committees for Salvage & Wreck Removal and Pilotage and will continue to support German, UK and Greek Members. As Global Technical Claims Director Jeff will oversee the technical aspects of the Club’s claims service, as well as major casualty response.
Adam Russ is also a qualified solicitor. Adam joined UK P&I in 2012, prior to this he headed up the legal and insurance department of Oldendorff. He also has experience working for another P&I Club.
